Help & frequently asked questions for Transcribe: Video to Script
My transcription failed. What can I do?
Check your internet connection and try again — failed attempts don't consume your daily free transcriptions. If you pasted a link, make sure it points to a public video. If the problem persists, contact us below with the link or file type you used.
Which files and links are supported?
You can upload common video and audio files (MP4, MOV, MP3, M4A, WAV and more) or paste a public video link. Transcription supports 100+ languages, with optional translation to English.
How do free transcriptions work?
You get a limited number of free transcriptions every day. For unlimited transcriptions, speaker detection and AI summaries, upgrade to PRO from the app.
How do I cancel my PRO subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by your app store. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal; PRO stays active until the end of the paid period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store according to their policies. You can request one from your store's order history. If you need help, write to us.
Where are my transcripts stored?
Transcripts are saved locally on your device, in the app's History. Deleting them from History (or uninstalling the app) removes them. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Clear your History in the app or uninstall it to remove local data. To request deletion of the anonymous data associated with your install, email us using the button below.
Still need help?
Write to us — we usually reply within 1–2 business days.
